The air is ripe for fright at Hoffman’s, and it’s the smell of haunted house success. Of course, what would you expect in a working barn that doubles as a reptile house? Yes, adding to the air of anxiety are real snakes, gators, and other crawly creatures, and they only heighten the creep factor. Scenes are surreal or at least satisfyingly sickening, and the second you notice (should you notice at all) those foliage-covered feet, well, it’s too late for you, my friend. Hoffman’s actors deliver the goods, hitting their marks so you might make yours…on the floor!
